Training sessions on the Life Corredores Ibéricos por quebrantahuesos project in Molinos (Teruel).
In 2022, two bearded vultures were released in the Maestrazgo region (Teruel). This release is part of the LIFE Iberian Corridors for the Bearded Vulture project, whose objective is to recover the historical territories lost by the species in the Iberian System. Among the actions of the project, coordinated by the FCQ, a training and awareness day was held in Molinos (12-4-2023) for Nature Protection Agents (APN) of the Government of Aragon, from different Environmental Areas (AMA) of Teruel. The purpose of the meeting was to get to know all the agents of the territory whose functions are to ensure the defense and protection of our biodiversity, as well as to facilitate mutual collaboration. Some results of the species recovery project are presented, as well as the canine unit for searching for poisons that is at the disposal of the project (a demonstration is given).
